     HOW THINGS WORK?

Robotics is a vast field comprising of mechanical, control systems, automation, codding, electronics and embedded systems. In order to appreciate how robotics works, it’s very important to have a solid know-how in all the fundamental fields.

This dedicated Page “HOW THINGS WORK” will try to cover the fundamentals in every field that is required for understanding robotics in a better way.

Through these pages……….

This tutorial will give you a basic introduction to how to configure GPIO using the example of blinking an led……

      OpenCV

What’s its importance in robotics????

You must be familiar with robots which work on facial recognition and gesture recognition systems. OpenCV is one such platform where all these can be achieved. But OpenCV is indeed capable of many more functions essential to present day robotics.

OpenCV is a library of programming function mainly aimed at real-time computer vision, which is free for use under the open source ……….

       Pneumatics

Pneumatics is that section of technology that utilises the energy stored in compressed air to do work. By controlling the release of the air to pneumatic cylinders, we can turn that energy into movement.

We all must have come across situations where robotic arms must be extended and pulled back to acheive desired results. This is one situation where Pneumatics comes to play in robotics.

In the tutorials that follow, I intend to take you through the basics of Pneumatics. A beginner level……….
